Ralf Peeters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillipe Van Hautvin having to interfere. After 38 minutes, Charles-Antoine Kuppens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KRC Meerbeek and the Real Threat players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KRC Meerbeek getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Charles-Antoine Kuppens hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Ken Van de kauter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soren Denturck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ken Van de kauter to make the kick off. KRC Meerbeek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralf Peeters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Real Threat's Phillipe Van Hautvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Peeters in the 74th minute of play. Phillipe Van Hautvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Peeters in the 80th minute of the match. When Jaspar Ingelborgh came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Real Threat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaspar Ingelborgh couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the game, Mathieu Verhulst was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Threat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KRC Meerbeek the free kick. In the 88th minute, Mathieu Verhulst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When KRC Meerbeek's Ralf Peeters in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
