To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, KV Blauw-zwart's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Susters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobus Van Eyken. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaspar Van Leemputten in the 14th minute of play forced KV Blauw-zwart's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Susters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobus Van Eyken came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jean-Louis Susters could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Jaspar Van Leemputten took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jean-Louis Susters to make any attempt to save it. 21 minutes into the game, Lauren De Putter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KV Blauw-zwart's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC smokers the free kick. Lauren De Putter kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Jacobus Van Eyken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Louis Susters having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, KV Blauw-zwart's goal looked a bit too open when Jaspar Van Leemputten came free, but Jean-Louis Susters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathieu-Maxim De Loose kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to KV Blauw-zwart getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mathieu-Maxim De Loose hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jaspar Van Leemputten managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC smokers's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaspar Van Leemputten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Louis Susters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean-Louis Susters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaspar Van Leemputten in the 60th minute of play. FC smokers's Jacobus Van Eyken got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaspar Van Leemputten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jean-Louis Susters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry de Pelsmacker in the 64th minute of play forced KV Blauw-zwart's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Susters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobus Van Eyken might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Louis Susters. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacobus Van Eyken ran back to his position shaking his head. When FC smokers's Jacobus Van Eyken in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KV Blauw-zwart's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the KV Blauw-zwart defense, Jacobus Van Eyken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Louis Susters. The KV Blauw-zwart fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Louis Susters should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Jacobus Van Eyken notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of KV Blauw-zwart's Jean-Louis Susters. Jean-Louis Susters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jean-Louis Susters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobus Van Eyken in the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Jaspar Van Leemputten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Susters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Louis Susters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC smokers. FC smokers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
