The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luke Dauwe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbin Godefroid in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Silvain Denijs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luke Dauwe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18th minute of the match Matteo Enfant sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matias Carels skillfully saved the ball. After 43 played minutes, Oombergen's Joerie Vandewalle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luke Dauwe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oombergen reached it. Francois Henrix kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Robbin Godefroid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48thth minute of the game Silvain Denijs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC smokers's Luke Dauwe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvain Denijs was the one to do the kick off.
