Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 150) After having played for 4 minutes, Nicolas Slegers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KVM2008's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Slegers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Claus Sutens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KVM2008 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Anthoon Van Caenegem came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the F.C. Patat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthoon Van Caenegem couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes F.C. Patat got a freekick which was hit by Jim Vanhaeren. Yoachim Fabry struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Henri-Patrick Van Meerbeec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KVM2008. Regis Tael succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 19th playminute. Nicolas Slegers charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Slegers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicolas Slegers kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Henri-Patrick Van Meerbeec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoachim Fabry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, F.C. Patat's Anthoon Van Caenegem ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joppe Van den Berge. Joppe Van den Berge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Regis Tael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Regis Tael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Joppe Van den Berge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Joppe Van den Berge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regis Tael in the 52nd minute of the match. Claus Sutens's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Henri-Patrick Van Meerbeec firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Claus Sutens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henri-Patrick Van Meerbeec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claus Sutens in the 56th minute. Anthoon Van Caenegem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Anthoon Van Caenegem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Patat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claus Sutens got free with Henri-Patrick Van Meerbeec in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacques Wolfdoncx shot a long shot in the 77th minute and a light blocked Joppe Van den Berge hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 4-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Anthoon Van Caenegem managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Patat's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthoon Van Caenegem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joppe Van den Berge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Regis Tael struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Joppe Van den Berge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Patat. Ritchie Hendrickx hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Henri-Patrick Van Meerbeec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoachim Fabry in the 92nd minute of the match. F.C. Patat's Anthoon Van Caenegem got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the F.C. Patat players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
