The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richmond De Vaddere showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SV Moorslede's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cederik Jonckers 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. After 81 played minutes RSC Athus got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Renso. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind RSC Athus's goalkeeper Andris Ourogge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, RSC Athus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joos Van de Poel to maneuver through the defense. Emiel Vercasteren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andris Ourogge having to interfere. The SV Moorslede supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RSC Athus's performance. The match ended with a win for RSC Athus.
