Spectators: 7591 (Terracing: 5694, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Yoachim Fabry kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Cederik Jonckers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joppe Van den Berge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 3rd match minute, KVM2008 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amaury Du Molin to maneuver through the defense. Joppe Van den Berge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricky Gijselinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, RSC Athus's Andris Ourogge got control of the ball when Claus Sutens tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Ricky Gijselinckx notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of KVM2008's Joppe Van den Berge. Joppe Van den Berge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Phillipe Van Meerbeek kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Eric Depauw recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cederik Jonckers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joppe Van den Berge having to interfere. After the first half RSC Athus were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricky Gijselinckx made a kick off. Yoachim Fabry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Andris Ourogge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, RSC Athus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rajmond Hauwaerts to maneuver through the defense. Eric Depauw charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Depauw the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Eric Depauw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cederik Jonckers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joppe Van den Berge having to interfere. Cederik Jonckers might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joppe Van den Berge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cederik Jonckers ran back to his position shaking his head. Yoachim Fabry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andris Ourogge having to interfere. Claus Sutens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Andris Ourogge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Rajmond Hauwaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The KVM2008 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RSC Athus's performance. The match ended with a win for RSC Athus.
