With a little luck, VC Boshoven's Dyllen Vermeesch got control of the ball when Joris Van Hespen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregorie De Haes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matteo Schamp having to interfere. Mattijs Moons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gust Cempenaers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dyllen Vermeesch. VC Boshoven's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gregorie De Haes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Matteo Schamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Kasper Dechamps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Mattijs Moons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VC Boshoven fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nico Van Hinnendaels to strike the kick off in the second half. KFC Dessel Sport's Matteo Schamp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Dessel Sport from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattijs Moons in the 60th minute of play forced KFC Dessel Sport's goalkeeper Matteo Schamp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattijs Moons in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matteo Schamp saved KFC Dessel Sport from getting behind. A collision led to KFC Dessel Sport getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Kevin De Weerdt hit a great ball. Mattijs Moons received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matteo Schamp came out and tried to block the shot, but Mattijs Moons slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 65th minute. 68 minutes in the game, Mattijs Moons fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Matteo Schamp having to interfere. Gregorie De Haes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to KFC Dessel Sport getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jozef Salms hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattijs Moons in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matteo Schamp saved KFC Dessel Sport from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Gregorie De Haes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VC Boshoven fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 79th match minute, KFC Dessel Sport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin De Weerdt to maneuver through the defense. If Gregorie De Haes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
