Spectators: 7447 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dimitri Verhulst made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the game, Jorre Luyten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brent de Pelsmakere. Jorre Luyten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 7 minutes, Jacky Schamp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Pittem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacky Schamp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorre Luyten in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brent de Pelsmakere saved Doncaster Rovers from getting behind. Dimitri Verhulst struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Qwinten Devaux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doncaster Rovers. After 17 minutes of play, Doncaster Rovers's Dimitri Verhulst made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Qwinten Devaux was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, one of KSV Pittem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KSV Pittem. In the 25th match minute, KSV Pittem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emile Demets to maneuver through the defense. Qwinten Devaux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Kerckmans in the 26th minute of the match. Brent de Pelsmakere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorre Luyten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurend Latomme kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jorre Luyten managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSV Pittem's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorre Luyten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brent de Pelsmakere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Doncaster Rovers's zone, Jacky Schamp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brent de Pelsmakere came out of the goal and Jacky Schamp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Kerckmans in the 38th minute of play forced KSV Pittem's goalkeeper Qwinten Devaux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert-Jan De Maret hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of KSV Pittem booed when Doncaster Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernd Voet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorre Luyten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. KSV Pittem's Qwinten Devaux proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save KSV Pittem from getting a goal against them. Ivo Kerckmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qwinten Devaux having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Jorre Luyten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Dimitri Verhulst's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Qwinten Devaux was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. If Dimitri Verhulst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, KSV Pittem's Jonathan Izemborgh got a free kick in the 79th minute. Doncaster Rovers's Ivo Kerckmans got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Jacky Schamp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
