Bartjan de Pelsmakere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to KFC Everbeek getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Lennart Stuckens hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitri Verhulst in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartjan de Pelsmakere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivo Kerckmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartjan de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Kerckmans in the 21st minute of the match. Joery Van Severen might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brent de Pelsmakere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joery Van Severen ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the game, one of Doncaster Rovers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Brent de Pelsmakere went to the wrong direction when Dominick Bernage was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 40th minute, Ivo Kerckmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joery Van Severen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Brent de Pelsmakere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Doncaster Rovers defense, Lennart Stuckens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brent de Pelsmakere. The Doncaster Rovers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brent de Pelsmakere should have stopped the shot. If Tommie Huijghens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, KFC Everbeek's Joery Van Severen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brent de Pelsmakere made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Dimitri Verhulst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. KFC Everbeek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Doncaster Rovers the free kick. In the 91st match minute, KFC Everbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoud Van Leemputte to maneuver through the defense. Quillian Van Haechten, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Doncaster Rovers's Dimitri Verhulst slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bartjan de Pelsmakere. That made the score 2-1 after 97 minutes of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Doncaster Rovers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KFC Everbeek.
