Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Gregorie Verhaghe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 10th minute of the match Doncaster Rovers got a corner. Techno Cadamuro F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Quillian Van Haechten ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 11 minutes, Ivo Kerckmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doncaster Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivo Kerckmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doncaster Rovers's Dimitri Verhulst suffered a concussion after 12 minutes and had to leave the field. After 12 minutes, Paul-Louis Van Caels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Techno Cadamuro F.C. and the Doncaster Rovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Techno Cadamuro F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Paul-Louis Van Caels hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Techno Cadamuro F.C.'s zone, Ivo Kerckmans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorie Verhaghe came out of the goal and Ivo Kerckmans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivo Kerckmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorie Verhaghe having to interfere. Ivo Kerckmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ivo Kerckmanss short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Gregorie Verhaghe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Techno Cadamuro F.C. booed when Doncaster Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernd Voet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bastian Verheijd charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bastian Verheijd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Techno Cadamuro F.C.'s Bastian Verheijd got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Ivo Kerckmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorie Verhaghe made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ivo Kerckmans sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute Gert-Jan De Maret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorie Verhaghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maurice Van Riel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Kerckmans might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorie Verhaghe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivo Kerckmans ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bastian Verheijd to make the kick off. If Ivo Kerckmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Kerckmans struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Gregorie Verhaghe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Ivo Kerckmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorie Verhaghe having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Laurend Latomme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Doncaster Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Perry Fabry came free, but Brent de Pelsmakere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brent de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurice Van Riel in the 94th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Doncaster Rovers had played much better football throughout.
