Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorre Luyten started the match with the kick off. Gregorie De Haes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Kobe De Putter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KSV Pittem's Qwinten Devaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattijs Moons in the 17th minute of play. Emile Demets charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emile Demets the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emile Demets kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Gregorie De Haes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qwinten Devaux having to interfere. In the 25th minute, KSV Pittem's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gregorie De Haes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 33rd minute, Mattijs Moons fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 38 minutes, Kasper Dechamps mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VC Boshoven and the KSV Pittem players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Gregorie De Haes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Qwinten Devaux made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Gregorie De Haes sent off a good shot on target. Gregorie De Haes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Qwinten Devaux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Mattijs Moons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qwinten Devaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Qwinten Devaux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorie De Haes, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Jacky Schamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Dyllen Vermeesch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattijs Moons in the 58th minute of play forced KSV Pittem's goalkeeper Qwinten Devaux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorie De Haes scored 2-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qwinten Devaux, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacky Schamp got free with Dyllen Vermeesch in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregorie De Haes struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Qwinten Devaux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Boshoven. Qwinten Devaux came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by VC Boshoven's Mattijs Moons. But to his dismay, Mattijs Moons quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Qwinten Devaux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattijs Moons in the 87th minute of play. If Mattijs Moons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. VC Boshoven had played much better football throughout.
