FC Wondelgem's Siebe Wilmots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoff Van Den Eynde in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Iendracht.be's Ferdinand Hylen got control of the ball when Dimitri Kints tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Van Linthaut's late challenge caught a Iendracht.be's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfons Terwenhout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Hylen having to interfere. Iendracht.be's Ferdinand Hylen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Iendracht.be from getting a goal against them. Dimitri Kints received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ferdinand Hylen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siebe Wilmots showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoff Van Den Eynde, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, FC Wondelgem's Dimitri Kints ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ferdinand Hylen. Ferdinand Hylen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3.

The wind increased when Christoff Van Den Eynde made the kick off in the second half. Tim-Jan Manaers hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Dimitri Kints had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ferdinand Hylen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitri Kints's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitri Kints in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinand Hylen saved Iendracht.be from getting behind. Sean Grootjans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Hylen having to interfere. When Sean Grootjans came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FC Wondelgem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Grootjans couldn't finish the play. FC Wondelgem's Dimitri Kints got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Mattias de Vleeschouwer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Wondelgem's Jacq Gyselincx got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, FC Wondelgem's goal looked a bit too open when Christoff Van Den Eynde came free, but Siebe Wilmots reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitri Kints sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When FC Wondelgem's Dimitri Kints in 78 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ferdinand Hylen guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in.
