In the 9th minute Matthieu De Ketelaere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crew Crews saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Wannes Van den Panhuizen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Crew Crews was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Desselgem getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gunter Van den Bergen hit a great ball. Robbe Van De Looks short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Teo Van de Gaer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Desselgem's Pierre-Olivier Uijterhoven got a free kick in the 40th minute. Hamooum's Hendrik-Jan Van De Wijngaert got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamooum's Crew Crews played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wannes Van den Panhuizen in the 45th minute of play. Crew Crews took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthieu De Ketelaere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Matthieu De Ketelaere could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Crew Crews made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Hamooum's goalkeeper Crew Crews had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthieu De Ketelaere. If Jacques Jacobs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Desselgem getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Matthieu De Ketelaere hit a great ball. Wannes Van den Panhuizen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hamooum's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Wannes Van den Panhuizen scored to the left of an out of position Crew Crews, making the score, 0-3. After having played for 72 minutes, Robbe Van De Look managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hamooum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robbe Van De Look was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th match minute, Desselgem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Olivier Uijterhoven to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Hamooum's Robbe Van De Look sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo Van de Gaer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hamooum were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Desselgem's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roger Fernandes took the corner. Hamooum's Christoffel Wynaerts was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teo Van de Gaer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bass Uytterhaegen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Desselgem eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
