The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Robby Frederickx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yannik Segers having to interfere. If Ief Meeus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes SK Heiberg got a freekick which was hit by Mathis Demarez. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renzo De Hertoghe during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, SK Heiberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renzo De Hertoghe to maneuver through the defense.
