Florian Vanderhaege came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by UHV United's Joery Kerkhove. Florian Vanderhaege took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joery Kerkhove, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Kersoutem's goal looked a bit too open when Tommas Van Hoyveldt came free, but Florian Vanderhaege reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stef Deville got free with Ramiz Balamir in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florian Vanderhaege took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martijn Himschoot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Francois Van Beersel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Tommas Van Hoyveldt made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joery Kerkhove got free with Florian Vanderhaege in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wouter Van Looy succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 56th playminute. With a little luck, Kersoutem's Florian Vanderhaege got control of the ball when Joery Kerkhove tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Francois Van Beersel fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kersoutem's protests and gave Francois Van Beersel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kersoutem getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Francois Van Beersel hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Tommas Van Hoyveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florian Vanderhaege. Kersoutem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommas Van Hoyveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 75th minute, Tommas Van Hoyveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UHV United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. After 80 played minutes UHV United got a freekick which was hit by Tommas Van Hoyveldt. The crowd rose to their feet as UHV United's Martijn Himschoot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florian Vanderhaege. That made the score 0-9 after 84 minutes of play. In the 87th minute, Stef Deville hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kersoutem's Stef Deville got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, UHV United's Kim Mallecots ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Florian Vanderhaege. Florian Vanderhaege yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11.
