Tommas Van Hoyveldt hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. A collision led to SK Heiberg getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Mathis Demarez hit a great ball. Yannik Segers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Mallecots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ief Meeus in the 12th minute of play forced UHV United's goalkeeper Ramiz Balamir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stan Geijselinckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Heiberg's goalkeeper Yannik Segers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kim Mallecots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Yannik Segers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathis Demarez charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathis Demarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, one of SK Heiberg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SK Heiberg. The referee gave UHV United a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cristian Romero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SK Heiberg's Yannik Segers. 1-0. Yannik Segers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Joost Smolders in the 26th minute of the match. Yannik Segers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martijn Himschoot, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Matias Nelleboedske reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yannik Segers. The goal made the score 2-0. Jan-Joost Smolderss short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Yannik Segers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When Kim Mallecots came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the UHV United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kim Mallecots couldn't finish the play. If Joery Kerkhove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Guido Leenknecht was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. In the 64th match minute, SK Heiberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Leenknecht to maneuver through the defense. When Jan-Joost Smolders came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the UHV United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Joost Smolders couldn't finish the play. Yannik Segers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joery Kerkhove went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute Joery Kerkhove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yannik Segers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joery Kerkhove scored 5-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yannik Segers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Joost Smolders in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yannik Segers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in UHV United's zone, Ief Meeus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiz Balamir came out of the goal and Ief Meeus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, SK Heiberg's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Mallecots came free, but Yannik Segers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Jan-Joost Smolders had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yannik Segers. SK Heiberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Joost Smolders was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. If Jan-Joost Smolders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the match, UHV United's goalkeeper Ramiz Balamir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ief Meeus. Ief Meeus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiz Balamir having to interfere.
