Spectators: 7322 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ian Panhuyse started the match with the kick off. Kersoutem's Florian Vanderhaege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Panhuyse in the 3rd minute of play. Florian Vanderhaege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robby Frederickx in the 5th minute of play. Ian Panhuyse took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florian Vanderhaege. Florian Vanderhaege dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steff Coopmans in the 15th minute of play forced Kersoutem's goalkeeper Florian Vanderhaege to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florian Vanderhaege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waud Melkval in the 16th minute of play. Florian Vanderhaege showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Panhuyse, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Kersoutem's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Panhuyse came free, but Florian Vanderhaege reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florian Vanderhaege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robby Frederickx in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Kersoutem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Tielemans to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Johan Stercks in the 30th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Joseph Candries's left hand side. After a rather tough play, Kersoutem's Francois Van Beersel got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Florian Vanderhaege took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Panhuyse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steff Coopmans hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Ian Panhuyse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RFC Ertvelde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Kersoutem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RFC Ertvelde were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stef Deville stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florian Vanderhaege made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Robby Frederickx sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as RFC Ertvelde's Ian Panhuyse slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florian Vanderhaege. That made the score 0-4 after 59 minutes of play. Christiaan Van de Plas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Florian Vanderhaege tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to RFC Ertvelde getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Robby Frederickx hit a great ball. A collision led to Kersoutem getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Geert-Jan Rix hit a great ball. Ian Panhuyse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Vanderhaege having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Kersoutem's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Panhuyse came free, but Florian Vanderhaege reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florian Vanderhaege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steff Coopmans in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Ian Panhuyse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Vanderhaege saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florian Vanderhaege was a little too slow when Ian Panhuyse got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-5. Robby Frederickx who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Florian Vanderhaege when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The RFC Ertvelde players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
