Didier Kant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Florian Vanderhaege tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Vanderhaege showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ief Meeus in the 27th minute of the match. Joachim Tielemans struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Yannik Segers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kersoutem. After some careless play in the Kersoutem defense, Ief Meeus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Vanderhaege. The Kersoutem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Vanderhaege should have stopped the shot. Thibaud Cempeners made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kersoutem's Joachim Tielemans. In the 41st minute, Joachim Tielemans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ief Meeus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

A collision led to Kersoutem getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Geert-Jan Rix hit a great ball. Jacobus Gijselinckx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefaan Sulems recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Geert-Jan Rix kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. SK Heiberg were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Kersoutem's much stronger midfield.
