The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daan Massenhove to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qwinten Timmermans in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tim van Bedts saved F.C. Stuiven from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Vicente Deswarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Stuiven's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Deswarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Acke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven Volens walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 92nd minute Daan Massenhove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim van Bedts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 98 minutes, Kevin Eli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Stuiven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Eli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VK Palmvelden walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
