Daan Massenhove received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Antonio Bauwens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SCG Muangthong United's Antonio Bauwens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qwinten Timmermans in the 15th minute of play. A hard shot 18 in the game by Pieter-Maarten Gielens from a close distance when the talented Mattias Acke managed to make a qualified save. VK Palmvelden's players were relieved. Antonio Bauwens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Qwinten Timmermans went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 23 minutes, Daan Massenhove made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. SCG Muangthong United's Antonio Bauwens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Daan Massenhove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Qwinten Timmermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When VK Palmvelden's Daan Massenhove in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 51 minutes, Pieter-Maarten Gielens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SCG Muangthong United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pieter-Maarten Gielens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Bauwens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daan Massenhove, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Qwinten Timmermans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Antonio Bauwens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in VK Palmvelden's zone, Pieter-Maarten Gielens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Acke came out of the goal and Pieter-Maarten Gielens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, SCG Muangthong United's goal looked a bit too open when Daan Massenhove came free, but Antonio Bauwens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of VK Palmvelden booed when SCG Muangthong United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thierry Sutens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daan Massenhove sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Qwinten Timmermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Bauwens having to interfere. VK Palmvelden's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
