Glenn Roofhoof who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Thys Rousseau when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thys Rousseau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alphonse Jans in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Alphonse Jans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thys Rousseau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to KAA Court-Saint-Etienne getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jesse Van der Vorst hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ingooigem's zone, Alphonse Jans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thys Rousseau came out of the goal and Alphonse Jans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Ingooigem's goal looked a bit too open when Alphonse Jans came free, but Thys Rousseau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lander Aerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tibau Vandendriessche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geert Teunens hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Aaron De Moor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tibau Vandendriessche. KAA Court-Saint-Etienne's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute, Alphonse Jans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alphonse Jans made a kick off. A collision led to Ingooigem getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Thijs De Bougne hit a great ball. Ingooigem's Thys Rousseau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alphonse Jans in the 54th minute of play. When Glenn Roofhoof came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the KAA Court-Saint-Etienne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glenn Roofhoof couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Aaron De Moor from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Tibau Vandendriessche's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tibau Vandendriessche came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ingooigem's Lander Aerts. But to his dismay, Lander Aerts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thys Rousseau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alphonse Jans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to KAA Court-Saint-Etienne getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Claus Roussel hit a great ball. Ingooigem's Vicente Volens shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tibau Vandendriessche but with some difficulty. 70 minutes into the game, Glenn Roofhoof cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thys Rousseau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Robbe Vinx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lander Aerts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Tibau Vandendriessche made a huge save. KAA Court-Saint-Etienne's Glenn Roofhoof got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, Ingooigem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf De Schepper to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute Glenn Roofhoof shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thys Rousseau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ingooigem's goalkeeper Thys Rousseau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Glenn Roofhoof received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Thys Rousseau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Glenn Roofhoof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
