Tobias Blixt kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Stuiven's zone, Tobias Blixt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim van Bedts came out of the goal and Tobias Blixt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute of the match, Thomas Imbrechs tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andries Salms saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 81 minutes F.C. Stuiven's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cui Lin Zhou who took care of the corner kick. 82 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Gent's Tobias Blixt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tim van Bedts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andries Salms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Imbrechs in the 86th minute of play. Tobias Blixt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim van Bedts having to interfere. With a little luck, Sporting Club Gent's Andries Salms got control of the ball when Kevin Eli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Although Sporting Club Gent had been in control for most of the match, F.C. Stuiven still came away with the win.
