Glenn Roofhoof who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Mattias Acke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Alphonse Jans dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mattias Acke, 1-0. When KAA Court-Saint-Etienne's Alphonse Jans in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VK Palmvelden's goalie prevented a goal. Alphonse Jans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Acke having to interfere. A collision led to KAA Court-Saint-Etienne getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jesse Van der Vorst hit a great ball. Glenn Roofhoof received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mattias Acke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glenn Roofhoof could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Mattias Acke made a huge save. Glenn Roofhoof blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mattias Acke having to make a save. If Alphonse Jans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glenn Roofhoof might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mattias Acke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glenn Roofhoof ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glenn Roofhoof got free with Mattias Acke in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alphonse Jans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alphonse Jans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When KAA Court-Saint-Etienne's Alphonse Jans in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mattias Acke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jesse Van der Vorst kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 67th play minutes Qwinten Timmermans shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Tibau Vandendriessche and just under the crossbar into goal. VK Palmvelden's Mattias Acke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Roofhoof in the 71st minute of play. If Alphonse Jans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When KAA Court-Saint-Etienne's Alphonse Jans in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. One of VK Palmvelden:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KAA Court-Saint-Etienne:s goal. Alphonse Jans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Acke having to interfere. KAA Court-Saint-Etienne's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
