Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Peter Justens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pieter-Maarten Gielens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Antonio Bauwens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thierry Sutens kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Pieter-Maarten Gielens managed to get in a good position for a shot. SCG Muangthong United's supporters rose to their feet, but Pieter-Maarten Gielens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phillipe Van der Poorten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Justens's late challenge caught a SCG Muangthong United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Justens helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes F.C. Zegelsem got a freekick which was hit by Peter Justens. Antonio Bauwens came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Zegelsem's Levi Terwenhout. But to his dismay, Levi Terwenhout quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Levi Terwenhout got free with Antonio Bauwens in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bas Van Aertvin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SCG Muangthong United's Antonio Bauwens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele in the 52nd minute of play. Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Bauwens having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Levi Terwenhout in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Bauwens saved SCG Muangthong United from getting behind. Antonio Bauwens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bavo Rutgeerts kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Phillipe Van der Poorten was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Michael Dewinter. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Phillipe Van der Poorten successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Levi Terwenhout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes into the match, SCG Muangthong United's goal looked a bit too open when Levi Terwenhout came free, but Antonio Bauwens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SCG Muangthong United's zone, Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Bauwens came out of the goal and Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Levi Terwenhout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Joannes Castermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bas Van Aertvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillipe Van der Poorten having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F.C. Zegelsem had played much better football throughout.
