Bruges Saint-Croix's Tim-Jan De Coster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alphonse Jans in the 63rd minute of play. When Glenn Roofhoof came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the KAA Court-Saint-Etienne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glenn Roofhoof couldn't finish the play. KAA Court-Saint-Etienne's Alphonse Jans got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tim-Jan De Coster was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alphonse Jans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 93 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded KAA Court-Saint-Etienne left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bruges Saint-Croix.
