The audience was convinced that Robbe Vinx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tim van Bedts was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Lander Aerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim van Bedts having to interfere. Wilfried Van Den Driessche hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Lander Aerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tim van Bedts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Tim van Bedts was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Robbe Vinx capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robbe Vinx really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Thomas Imbrechs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute of the match, Robbe Vinx tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tim van Bedts saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tim van Bedts made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Lander Aerts sent off a good shot on target. Tim van Bedts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbe Vinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C. Stuiven's Tim van Bedts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Stuiven from getting a goal against them. Wilfried Van Den Driessche charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfried Van Den Driessche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, F.C. Stuiven's Wilfried Van Den Driessche got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Robbe Vinx dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tim van Bedts, 3-0. In the 48th minute, Robbe Vinx fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tim van Bedts, passed just outside the right post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robbe Vinx made a kick off. Tim van Bedts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbe Vinx in the 55th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Stuiven's goalkeeper Tim van Bedts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robbe Vinx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim van Bedts having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Deswarte during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robbe Vinx struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Tim van Bedts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ingooigem. Ingooigem's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
