After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Tim van Bedts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glenn Roofhoof went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the KAA Court-Saint-Etienne players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
