Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) When Kevin Eli came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the F.C. Stuiven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Eli couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Daan Massenhove notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of F.C. Stuiven's Tim van Bedts. Tim van Bedts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the match, F.C. Stuiven's goal looked a bit too open when Qwinten Timmermans came free, but Tim van Bedts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in VK Palmvelden's zone, Thomas Imbrechs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Acke came out of the goal and Thomas Imbrechs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luc Van den Driesch hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Luc Van den Driesch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Qwinten Timmermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim van Bedts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When F.C. Stuiven's Kevin Eli in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VK Palmvelden's goalie prevented a goal. Mattias Acke made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Kevin Eli sent off a good shot on target. Qwinten Timmermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim van Bedts having to interfere. Daan Massenhove recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mattias Acke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Imbrechs, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Eli in the 61st minute of play forced VK Palmvelden's goalkeeper Mattias Acke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VK Palmvelden's Mattias Acke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Eli in the 68th minute of play. F.C. Stuiven's Tim van Bedts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Stuiven from getting a goal against them. Daan Massenhove received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tim van Bedts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Qwinten Timmermans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Tim van Bedts made a huge save. Tim van Bedts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daan Massenhove, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
