Marc Helssen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Brain Fierens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Schouters hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. FC Odegaard's Dominik Van Heerle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Schouters in the 21st minute of play. Pieter-Maarten Raeijmaeckers hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Lionel Aelgoet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Brain Fierens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas-Jan Lemmens hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Kenneth Kerstens charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenneth Kerstens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Odegaard's Kenneth Kerstens got a free kick in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, FC Odegaard's goal looked a bit too open when Tomm Caes came free, but Dominik Van Heerle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerrit Hustinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 played minutes FC Odegaard got a freekick which was hit by Dimitri Van Den Broek. When Thomas-Jan Lemmens fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Odegaard's protests and gave Thomas-Jan Lemmens a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes FC Odegaard got a freekick which was hit by Thomas-Jan Lemmens. Yens Herpoel didn't quite understand what happened when in the 44 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Schouters stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC Odegaard's Dominik Van Heerle got control of the ball when Tomm Caes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joel Schouters took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dominik Van Heerle. Dominik Van Heerle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Dominik Van Heerle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Schouters, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Lionel Aelgoet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Lionel Aelgoet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Odegaard fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Dominik Van Heerle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Schouters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KV Rattendaal's Brain Fierens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri Van Den Broek in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, FC Odegaard's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Schouters came free, but Dominik Van Heerle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, KV Rattendaal's Toon De Swert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. Charly Oelemans hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Tomm Caes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Dominik Van Heerle made a huge save. FC Odegaard's Dominik Van Heerle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save FC Odegaard from getting a goal against them. Tomm Caes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dominik Van Heerle firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 91st minute, Dimitri Van Den Broek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KV Rattendaal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
