Spectators: 7024 (Terracing: 6024, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Schouters got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Giovanni Van Casteren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brain Fierens. Brain Fierens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 7th minute Toon De Swert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Van De Wiele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Wout Janssen made a precise shot to the right of Brain Fierens. KV Rattendaal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. KV Rattendaal's Brain Fierens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wout Janssen in the 14th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a freekick which was hit by Ken Van Halssbeeck. When Cederique Imbreghts came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sport Lisboa e Benfica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cederique Imbreghts couldn't finish the play. The supporters of KV Rattendaal booed when Sport Lisboa e Benfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Dauwen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cederique Imbreghts in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brain Fierens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cederique Imbreghts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Julius De Muysere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KV Rattendaal the free kick. The audience was convinced that Cederique Imbreghts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brain Fierens was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the game, Anton De Koster cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Brain Fierens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomm Caes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton De Koster took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brain Fierens. Brain Fierens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Schouters in the 45th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Birger Van De Wiele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goal looked a bit too open when Tomm Caes came free, but Birger Van De Wiele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Cederique Imbreghts made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Charly Oelemans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KV Rattendaal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Lisboa e Benfica the free kick. A collision led to KV Rattendaal getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Charly Oelemans hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, KV Rattendaal's goal looked a bit too open when Cederique Imbreghts came free, but Brain Fierens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toon De Swert got free with Birger Van De Wiele in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julius De Muysere was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of KV Rattendaal booed when Sport Lisboa e Benfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius De Muysere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yens Herpoel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Birger Van De Wiele. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anton De Koster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Brain Fierens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Cederique Imbreghts got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Anton De Koster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton De Koster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brain Fierens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomm Caes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Birger Van De Wiele made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stein Severens in the 73rd minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Birger Van De Wiele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wout Janssen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mattheo Van haeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Birger Van De Wiele made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in KV Rattendaal's zone, Wout Janssen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brain Fierens came out of the goal and Wout Janssen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cederique Imbreghts in the 88th minute of play forced KV Rattendaal's goalkeeper Brain Fierens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cederique Imbreghts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sport Lisboa e Benfica had played much better football throughout.
