Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Greg Portai started the match with the kick off. Yannis Cerneels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Schouters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Los Manguis & Company getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Refael Justus hit a great ball. Joel Schouters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Manguis & Company's Greg Portai got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KV Rattendaal's Toon De Swert got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Los Manguis & Company's Greg Portai in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KV Rattendaal's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, KV Rattendaal's Brain Fierens got control of the ball when Steven Huijberechts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yannis Cerneels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomm Caes, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes, Los Manguis & Company's Jordy Vissenaeckens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brain Fierens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Manguis & Company reached it. Yannis Cerneels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Schouters in the 40th minute of the match. When Tomm Caes fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KV Rattendaal's protests and gave Tomm Caes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, KV Rattendaal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomm Caes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 47 minutes, Greg Portai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Manguis & Company's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greg Portai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Schouters to make the kick off. Yannis Cerneels made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomm Caes in the 52nd minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Tomm Caes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KV Rattendaal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomm Caes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brain Fierens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steven Huijberechts's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute, Steven Huijberechts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Manguis & Company fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tomm Caes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Yannis Cerneels made a huge save. After 71 played minutes Los Manguis & Company got a freekick which was hit by Vince Verheijd. When Tomm Caes came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the KV Rattendaal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomm Caes couldn't finish the play. Greg Portai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brain Fierens having to interfere. KV Rattendaal's Brain Fierens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Huijberechts in the 97th minute of play. Los Manguis & Company were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KV Rattendaal for a fine match.
