Los Manguis & Company's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varinkshoek the free kick. After 11 played minutes Los Manguis & Company got a freekick which was hit by Diederiek Vercouteren. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ben Laporte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varinkshoek's supporters rose to their feet, but Ben Laporte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yannis Cerneels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Refael Justus during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Refael Justus hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Ben Laporte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. In the 28th match minute, Varinkshoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomm Petris to maneuver through the defense. Los Manguis & Company's Yannis Cerneels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Laporte in the 54th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ian Lenoir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yannis Cerneels was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Laporte in the 89th minute of play forced Los Manguis & Company's goalkeeper Yannis Cerneels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Steven Huijberechts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaert Verhasselt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ian Lenoir struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Yannis Cerneels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varinkshoek. Varinkshoek were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Los Manguis & Company to leave the ground with a draw.
