Seating: 1815, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomas-Jan Wuyts started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Thomas-Jan Wuyts fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 8th minute of the match Jan-Simon Langendonck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harold De Meyer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gabriel Kloots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Thomas-Jan Wuyts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute, Matias Hendrickx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gourgues FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 18th minute, Thomas-Jan Wuyts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 minutes, Matias Hendrickx made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Werken's Jerome Vandenberge tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thomas-Jan Wuyts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerome Vandenberge having to interfere. With his leg Jerome Vandenberge managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Gourgues FC's Matias Hendrickx fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 26thth minute of the game Thomas-Jan Wuyts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Werken's Jerome Vandenberge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Gourgues FC's Matias Hendrickx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerome Vandenberge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Matias Hendrickx didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 4-0 via right post in the game's 32nd minute. Gourgues FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 35 played minutes Werken got a freekick which was hit by Florian Van Hoegaerden. 36 minutes into the match, Gourgues FC's Thomas-Jan Wuyts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerome Vandenberge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matias Hendrickx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jerome Vandenberge made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Thomas-Jan Wuyts put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jerome Vandenberge. Matias Hendrickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
After 51 played minutes Gourgues FC got a freekick which was hit by Boudewijn Feys. Gabriel Kloots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas-Jan Wuyts took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerome Vandenberge. Jerome Vandenberge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Thomas-Jan Wuyts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerome Vandenberge having to interfere. Matias Hendrickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludwig Van Riel hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Jerome Vandenberge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas-Jan Wuyts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes of play, Gourgues FC's Matias Hendrickx made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerome Vandenberge was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Ludwig Van Riel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Will Van Houtvin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Werken's zone, Thomas-Jan Wuyts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerome Vandenberge came out of the goal and Thomas-Jan Wuyts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Thomas-Jan Wuyts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerome Vandenberge was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas-Jan Wuyts in the 88th minute of play forced Werken's goalkeeper Jerome Vandenberge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
