Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5950, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kim Dauwen started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Varinkshoek's Ben Laporte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reinaud Maeijnaerts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Rajmond Dhollander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reinaert Verhasselt, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Krankenhause FC's Rajmond Dhollander got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ian Lenoir scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinaud Maeijnaerts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reinaud Maeijnaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomm Petris, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Kim Dauwen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Reemy Hemelaer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Krankenhause FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varinkshoek the free kick. A collision led to Krankenhause FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Reemy Hemelaer hit a great ball. Ian Lenoir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reinaud Maeijnaerts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Reinaud Maeijnaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Lenoir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaud Wintermans charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaud Wintermans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Arnaud Wintermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th match minute, Varinkshoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthy Van de Weijer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Laporte in the 42nd minute of play forced Krankenhause FC's goalkeeper Reinaud Maeijnaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kim Dauwen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Reinaert Verhasselt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaud Maeijnaerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Lenoir in the 46th minute of the match. Varinkshoek's Reinaert Verhasselt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rajmond Dhollander in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ian Lenoir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reinaud Maeijnaerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Lenoir in the 52nd minute of the match. Kim Dauwen took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reinaert Verhasselt. Reinaert Verhasselt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Ben Laporte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Varinkshoek booed when Krankenhause FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rajmond Dhollander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes, Varinkshoek's Emile Langendonckx shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reinaud Maeijnaerts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Varinkshoek reached it. If Reemy Hemelaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Krankenhause FC defense, Ben Laporte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reinaud Maeijnaerts. The Krankenhause FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinaud Maeijnaerts should have stopped the shot. Varinkshoek were furious when Emile Langendonckx was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Krankenhause FC. Raf Portmans stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Reinaert Verhasselt. 3-2. Ben Laporte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Reinaud Maeijnaerts when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th match minute, Varinkshoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthy Van de Weijer to maneuver through the defense. Kim Dauwen took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reinaert Verhasselt. Reinaert Verhasselt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Reinaud Maeijnaerts came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Varinkshoek's Matthy Van de Weijer. But to his dismay, Matthy Van de Weijer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Krankenhause FC's Kim Dauwen got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Senne Vermeiren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Reinaert Verhasselt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kim Dauwen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Krankenhause FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Varinkshoek had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
