Spectators: 8000 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 160) Temsbroek's Ronny Balthazar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Hectic got a freekick which was hit by Yelle Helsen. Lars De Malier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronny Balthazar's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After 6 played minutes, Temsbroek's Christopher Van Ghele shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lars De Malier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Temsbroek reached it. Lars De Malier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronny Balthazar's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Hectic's Jaques Lambert got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Fredrik Daneels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wout Coekx struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Jonathan Goethals didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hectic. Fredrik Daneels kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Ronny Balthazar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hectic's Lars De Malier. Lars De Malier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronny Balthazar might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars De Malier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronny Balthazar ran back to his position shaking his head. Evert Van Cleijnenbreugel kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Mats Degraef's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Jonathan Goethals skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Temsbroek's Samuel Geijselinckx got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Wout Coekx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mats Degraef during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mats Degraef kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Ronny Balthazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars De Malier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mats Degraef made a kick off. Lars De Malier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronny Balthazar's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Wout Coekx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cesar De Vorster fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Temsbroek's protests and gave Cesar De Vorster a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Goethals took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Degraef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Balthazar charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronny Balthazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Temsbroek got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Balthazar. Lars De Malier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronny Balthazar went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lars De Malier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Van Cleijnenbreugel in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 played minutes, Temsbroek's Corneel Coussement shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lars De Malier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Temsbroek reached it. Jonathan Goethals came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Hectic's Mats Degraef. But to his dismay, Mats Degraef quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ronny Balthazar struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Lars De Malier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temsbroek. Ronny Balthazar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Lars De Malier 85 minutes into the match. A collision led to Temsbroek getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Evert Van Cleijnenbreugel hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Mats Degraef shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Goethals saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Temsbroek's Cesar De Vorster got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Temsbroek walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
