In the 19th minute, Mats Degraef got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Gendre in the 20th minute of play forced Hectic's goalkeeper Lars De Malier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Bovoorde's goalkeeper Ettore Piacente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mats Degraef. Ettore Piacente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wout Coekx went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Bovoorde's Ettore Piacente got control of the ball when Mats Degraef tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bovoorde's Rene De Mare got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars De Malier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene De Mare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mats Degraef could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ettore Piacente made a huge save. The supporters of Bovoorde booed when Hectic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yelle Helsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoff De Wortelaers, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ettore Piacente made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Mats Degraef sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mats Degraef stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hectic's Lars De Malier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Hectic from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute, Mats Degraef got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Bovoorde's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Degraef came free, but Ettore Piacente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Mats Degraef cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ettore Piacente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ettore Piacente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Degraef, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the game, Christoff De Wortelaers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bovoorde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hectic the free kick. 卓奕霖 hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ettore Piacente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Degraef, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bovoorde players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hectic.
