After recieving a nice pass, Berliner Bären's Hakan Kaya tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sassenhout defense, Răzvan Pisculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evert-Jan Algoedt. The Sassenhout fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evert-Jan Algoedt should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Răzvan Pisculescu sped through Sassenhout's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evert-Jan Algoedt. Lucas Maeijnaerts hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Viktor Roelants made an important save on a dangerous shot by Senne Paaps in the 31st minute. Evert-Jan Algoedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Pisculescu in the 41st minute of the match. Evert-Jan Algoedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jullian van Elderen, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Răzvan Pisculescu got free in front of the goal in the 43rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Evert-Jan Algoedt was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Răzvan Pisculescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Evert-Jan Algoedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Senne Paaps was the one to do the kick off. Evert-Jan Algoedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam-Lucas Nijs in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sassenhout defense, Răzvan Pisculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evert-Jan Algoedt. The Sassenhout fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evert-Jan Algoedt should have stopped the shot. Răzvan Pisculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Sassenhout's Walter De Raedemaecker got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Berliner Bären's Răzvan Pisculescu fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 64thth minute of the game Răzvan Pisculescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sassenhout's Evert-Jan Algoedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Senne Paaps managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sassenhout's supporters crossed their fingers, but Senne Paaps was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Răzvan Pisculescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evert-Jan Algoedt having to make a save. Elias Coveliers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert-Jan Algoedt having to interfere. The supporters of Sassenhout booed when Berliner Bären was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jullian van Elderen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Roelants made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Raemakers in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Jules Van Den Linden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evert-Jan Algoedt was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Elias Coveliers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elias Coveliers really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. The supporters of Berliner Bären booed when Sassenhout was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jules Van Den Linden didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam-Lucas Nijs in the 88th minute of play forced Sassenhout's goalkeeper Evert-Jan Algoedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sassenhout's Evert-Jan Algoedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Pisculescu in the 95th minute of play.
