A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Temsbroek's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Van Mechelen came free, but Jonathan Goethals reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Temsbroek's Jonathan Goethals played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Van Mechelen in the 16th minute of play. Miguel Van Mechelen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Goethals read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Miguel Van Mechelen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Temsbroek's Jonathan Goethals was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Andries Mangelschot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andries Mangelschot might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Goethals. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andries Mangelschot ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Evert Van Cleijnenbreugel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andries Van Mechelen was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Corneel Coussement charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corneel Coussement the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Goethals was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 40 minutes into the game, one of Temsbroek:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Van Mechelen was the one to do the kick off. Adolphe De Maerschalckx hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ronny Balthazar struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Andries Van Mechelen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temsbroek. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Miguel Van Mechelen took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Jonathan Goethals to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Goethals made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andries Mangelschot in the 66th minute. If Cesar De Vorster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Van Mechelen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Temsbroek's goalkeeper Jonathan Goethals had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Van Mechelen. In the 81st minute, Corneel Coussement hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Van Mechelen got free with Jonathan Goethals in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 played minutes, Temsbroek's Ronny Balthazar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andries Van Mechelen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Temsbroek reached it.
