Michel de Neutere took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ettore Piacente. Ettore Piacente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Joachim Gobbelijns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven De Beer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Bovoorde's Ettore Piacente got control of the ball when Maxime Devaux tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joachim Gobbelijns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 卓奕霖's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Vroegeinde's Douglas Sneijers got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 卓奕霖 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Joachim Gobbelijns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 卓奕霖 in the 48th minute of play forced Vroegeinde's goalkeeper Joachim Gobbelijns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Raf Van den Sande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Van Bouschot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vroegeinde's Joachim Gobbelijns proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Vroegeinde from getting a goal against them. Carlos Van Bouschot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ettore Piacente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Gendre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Joachim Gobbelijns made a huge save. When Bovoorde's Sven De Beer in 87 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Joachim Gobbelijns guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ettore Piacente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Van Bouschot's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Bovoorde were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
