In the 7th minute, Stefan Raemakers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dany Loremans was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Koekelare MFC's goalkeeper Dany Loremans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dany Loremans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Cockaerts in the 14th minute of play. Erik-Jan Van De Look hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Richmond Schrijns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sassenhout's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richmond Schrijns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Senne Paaps struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Dany Loremans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sassenhout. Dany Loremans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senne Paaps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Senne Paaps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes Koekelare MFC got a freekick which was hit by Erik-Jan Van De Look. 32 minutes into the match, Koekelare MFC's goal looked a bit too open when Senne Paaps came free, but Dany Loremans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stefan Raemakers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard and well directed shot from Richmond Schrijns led 36 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Koekelare MFC's Dany Loremans became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-2. Stefan Raemakers took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dany Loremans. Dany Loremans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Senne Paaps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dany Loremans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Stefan Raemakers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dany Loremans was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The Koekelare MFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sassenhout were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laércio Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. Andris Ablij hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Richmond Schrijns, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Laércio Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Stefan Raemakers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dany Loremans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute of the match, Senne Paaps tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dany Loremans saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Koekelare MFC's zone, Stefan Raemakers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dany Loremans came out of the goal and Stefan Raemakers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Senne Paaps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Koekelare MFC's goalkeeper Dany Loremans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stefan Raemakerss short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Dany Loremans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Koekelare MFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Erik-Jan Van De Look hit a great ball. If Senne Paaps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85th match minute, Sassenhout was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Raemakers to maneuver through the defense. If Senne Paaps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Raemakers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dany Loremans having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Laércio Paraíba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Koekelare MFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sassenhout the free kick. Laércio Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Stefan Raemakers might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dany Loremans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Raemakers ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th match minute, Koekelare MFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Tino to maneuver through the defense. Richmond Schrijns, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sassenhout's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
