In the 8th minute of the match Christopher Van Ghele sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dries Van Aghten skillfully saved the ball. Ronny Balthazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dries Van Aghten having to interfere. Evert Van Cleijnenbreugel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dries Van Aghten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny Balthazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dries Van Aghten having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronny Balthazar in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dries Van Aghten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Balthazar in the 27th minute of play forced Haringe's goalkeeper Dries Van Aghten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronny Balthazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dries Van Aghten having to make a save. Ronny Balthazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Cesar De Vorster had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dries Van Aghten. Haringe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesar De Vorster was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, Haringe's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Balthazar came free, but Dries Van Aghten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Evert Van Cleijnenbreugel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesar De Vorster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dries Van Aghten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Temsbroek were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ronny Balthazar made the kick off in the second half. Evert Van Cleijnenbreugel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dries Van Aghten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. When Evert Van Cleijnenbreugel came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Temsbroek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Van Cleijnenbreugel couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ronny Balthazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Temsbroek's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronny Balthazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dries Van Aghten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronny Balthazar in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dries Van Aghten saved Haringe from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Temsbroek left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Haringe.
