Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Stefan Raemakers came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Sassenhout fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Raemakers couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute Stefan Raemakers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaud Raeijmaeckers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Stefan Raemakers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thibaud Raeijmaeckers. Aalbeked's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Raemakers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Sassenhout's Senne Paaps in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aalbeked's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th match minute, Sassenhout was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richmond Schrijns to maneuver through the defense. Andris Ablij charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andris Ablij the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sassenhout getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Andris Ablij hit a great ball. Stefan Raemakers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibaud Raeijmaeckers having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Joost Van hoegaerde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aalbeked's supporters rose to their feet, but Joost Van hoegaerde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert-Jan Algoedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stefan Raemakers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Thibaud Raeijmaeckers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Sassenhout was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Cockaerts to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Sassenhout were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Aalbeked's Thibaud Raeijmaeckers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Aalbeked from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Stefan Raemakers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Raemakers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Thibaud Raeijmaeckers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thibaud Raeijmaeckers made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Stefan Raemakers sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the game, Senne Paaps recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thibaud Raeijmaeckers. Senne Paaps showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When Dave De Martelaere fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aalbeked's protests and gave Dave De Martelaere a yellow card for diving instead. Thibaud Raeijmaeckers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Senne Paaps in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Aalbeked's Niki Smolders sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evert-Jan Algoedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 78 in the game by Stefan Raemakers from a close distance when the talented Thibaud Raeijmaeckers managed to make a qualified save. Aalbeked's players were relieved. Senne Paaps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Aalbeked's Joost Van hoegaerde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evert-Jan Algoedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joost Van hoegaerde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Evert-Jan Algoedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sassenhout had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
