The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Laércio Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Coveliers might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dany Loremans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Coveliers ran back to his position shaking his head. Koekelare MFC's Dany Loremans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Pisculescu in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Răzvan Pisculescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dany Loremans was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Elias Coveliers took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dany Loremans. Dany Loremans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Koekelare MFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Martin Valckx hit a great ball. Dany Loremans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Pisculescu in the 25th minute of play. Laércio Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Roelants having to interfere. Dany Loremans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Coveliers went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Răzvan Pisculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Koekelare MFC's zone, Elias Coveliers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dany Loremans came out of the goal and Elias Coveliers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Răzvan Pisculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dany Loremans having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Elias Coveliers notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Koekelare MFC's Dany Loremans. Dany Loremans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Elias Coveliers came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Berliner Bären fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Coveliers couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Berliner Bären getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Elias Coveliers hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 51 played minutes Berliner Bären got a freekick which was hit by Elias Coveliers. In the 52nd minute of the match Erik-Jan Van De Look sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viktor Roelants skillfully saved the ball. Elias Coveliers hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Elias Coveliers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Dany Loremans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Koekelare MFC's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Pisculescu came free, but Dany Loremans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dany Loremans was a little too slow when Elias Coveliers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-5. Dany Loremans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam-Lucas Nijs in the 64th minute of the match. Andris Wintermans struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Dany Loremans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berliner Bären. After 68th play minutes Răzvan Pisculescu shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Dany Loremans and just under the crossbar into goal. Koekelare MFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Elias Coveliers scored to the left of an out of position Dany Loremans, making the score, 0-7. Elias Coveliers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Răzvan Pisculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Koekelare MFC's Dany Loremans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Koekelare MFC from getting a goal against them. After 83 minutes, Răzvan Pisculescu made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Koekelare MFC's Dany Loremans tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Răzvan Pisculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dany Loremans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berliner Bären's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
