Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kristof Hylen got the match started through his kick off. The Wuustwezel fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Wuustwezel's Lode Van Hespen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wuustwezel's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers's late challenge caught a Wuustwezel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Malinwa getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers hit a great ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malinwa's goalkeeper Marc Visch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Malinwa's Marc Visch got control of the ball when Kristof Hylen tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordy Bormans in the 21st minute of play forced Wuustwezel's goalkeeper Arne Steenbeeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Rocky Olbrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Steenbeeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordy Bormans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 27 in the game by Kristof Hylen from a close distance when the talented Marc Visch managed to make a qualified save. Malinwa's players were relieved. In the 36th minute, Lode Van Hespen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th match minute, Malinwa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijs Du Sausois to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jordy Bormans to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Wuustwezel's Lode Van Hespen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Visch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes in the game, Kristof Hylen dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Kristof Hylen ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the match, Malinwa's goal looked a bit too open when Lode Van Hespen came free, but Marc Visch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Kristof Hylen sped through Malinwa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marc Visch. Arne Steenbeeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aime Borglevens in the 70th minute. After 71 minutes, Jordy Bormans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malinwa and the Wuustwezel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristof Hylen in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Marc Visch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristof Hylen in the 81st minute of the match. If Lode Van Hespen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Visch came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Wuustwezel's Kristof Hylen. But to his dismay, Kristof Hylen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Wuustwezel walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
