Jordy Bormans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ksawery Gdowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Jordy Bormans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksawery Gdowski having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Malinwa's Jordy Bormans slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ksawery Gdowski. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Corrado Spano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nothing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corrado Spano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aime Borglevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksawery Gdowski having to interfere. When Corrado Spano fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nothing's protests and gave Corrado Spano a yellow card for diving instead. If Aime Borglevens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jordy Bormans came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Malinwa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jordy Bormans couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jordy Bormans to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jordy Bormans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 70th minute of the match Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Aime Borglevens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aime Borglevens in the 87th minute of play forced Nothing's goalkeeper Ksawery Gdowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ksawery Gdowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aime Borglevens in the 88th minute of play. When Aime Borglevens came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Malinwa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aime Borglevens couldn't finish the play. Gery Langhmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Visch having to interfere.
