Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Gill Van der Veeren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilliam De Deygere. RSC Loenhout's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gill Van der Veeren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, RSC Loenhout's Jose De Haes got a free kick in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marten Beaufort in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilliam De Deygere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 15 minutes, Marten Beaufort managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Oombergen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marten Beaufort was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marten Beaufort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gilliam De Deygere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, RSC Loenhout was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose De Haes to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes RSC Loenhout got a freekick which was hit by Jose De Haes. In the 33rd minute, Gill Van der Veeren made a precise shot to the right of Gilliam De Deygere. RSC Loenhout's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gill Van der Veeren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Loenhout's zone, Marten Beaufort stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilliam De Deygere came out of the goal and Marten Beaufort tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Marten Beaufort notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of RSC Loenhout's Gilliam De Deygere. Gilliam De Deygere was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marten Beaufort in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilliam De Deygere saved RSC Loenhout from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Gill Van der Veeren in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 68 minutes into the match, RSC Loenhout's goal looked a bit too open when Marten Beaufort came free, but Gilliam De Deygere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Arnauld Lefevere mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RSC Loenhout and the SK Oombergen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RSC Loenhout! After 78 played minutes SK Oombergen got a freekick which was hit by Gery De Maerschalckx. Paul-Louis Degens took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilles Jannis. SK Oombergen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gilles Jannis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Ombelets, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Gill Van der Veeren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilliam De Deygere was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Arnauld Lefevere took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilles Jannis. SK Oombergen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SK Oombergen fully deserved thier win.
