Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bastiaan Callens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marc Visch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Laureijs in the 13th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Jordy Bormans got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordy Bormans in the 25th minute of play forced Buitre SC's goalkeeper Bastiaan Callens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Buitre SC booed when Malinwa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijs Du Sausois didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aime Borglevens struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Bastiaan Callens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malinwa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Goddez in the 37th minute of play forced Malinwa's goalkeeper Marc Visch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordy Bormans's late challenge caught a Buitre SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordy Bormans helped the player get up and apologised. When Mattias de Pelsmaecker came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Buitre SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias de Pelsmaecker couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd match minute, Buitre SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Laureijs to maneuver through the defense. Ritchie De Raeijmaeckers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bastiaan Callens having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Jordy Bormans made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Nico Laureijs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buitre SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico Laureijs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Visch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Malinwa's goalkeeper Marc Visch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Malinwa getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mathijs Du Sausois hit a great ball. Marc Visch was a little too slow when Mattias de Pelsmaecker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-1. If Mathieu Meijers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aime Borglevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastiaan Callens having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathieu Meijers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marc Visch. That made the score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. Buitre SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
