An unexpectedly hard shot by Lex Windelinckx in the 17th minute of play forced VC Jekervallei Sluizen's goalkeeper Roben Van Buyten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Diego Ourogge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roben Van Buyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VC Jekervallei Sluizen's Roben Van Buyten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Ourogge in the 26th minute of play. If Francisco Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute, Henri Balthazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, KV Woluwe Zaventem's Lex Windelinckx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lex Windelinckx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. KV Woluwe Zaventem played a much better game than VC Jekervallei Sluizen and deserved their victory. The VC Jekervallei Sluizen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
