The FS Gent fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 95th match minute, FS Gent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias-Alexander Oelaerts to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, FS Gent could leave the field as winners, despite SC Bierbeek having more of the ball for most of the match.
