Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marnix Laurent took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ferdinand Deswarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jannis Impens, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 15 played minutes, KVWZ's Gregorie de Nooter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bertan Wouqier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KVWZ reached it. After 19 played minutes KVWZ got a freekick which was hit by Renzo Vanbuyten. Marnix Laurent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bertan Wouqier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jannis Impens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, KVWZ's goal looked a bit too open when Richmond Swiggers came free, but Ferdinand Deswarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertan Wouqier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marnix Laurent's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. When Jonas Van Clijnebreugel came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the BocaJuniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Van Clijnebreugel couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, BocaJuniors's Jannis Impens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinand Deswarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jannis Impens to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Luk Van Campenhout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, KVWZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jannis Impens fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 60 minutes of play, BocaJuniors's Jannis Impens made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinand Deswarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mike Wijnants kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Jannis Impens could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Ferdinand Deswarte however easily saved by the left post. Ferdinand Deswarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenz Boumans in the 69th minute of the match. Ferdinand Deswarte made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Richmond Swiggers sent off a good shot on target. Marnix Laurent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdinand Deswarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedict Van Hautvin in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the match, BocaJuniors's Richmond Swiggers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinand Deswarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bertan Wouqier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marnix Laurent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th play minute Jannis Impens came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ferdinand Deswarte. 0-2. 93 minutes into the game, Marnix Laurent cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bertan Wouqier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. BocaJuniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
